Waterloo Park Centre for the Environment

During a studio design course at Waterloo, we were tasked with designing an environmental interpretation centre- a place where the community can learn about sustainable living and the local ecology.  Below you'll find some renderings produced for this project. The building sports many environmental design features such as  a cooling tower, passive solar heating, and locally sourced cladding. The exterior of the site boasts a local butterfly garden, a polyculture farming display, an outdoor classroom, and a rain water collection mechanism.
