Grow Bananas

As apart of a first-year studio course, we were tasked with creating a master plan, and planting design for a showcase farm at Cowbell Brewery in Blyth, Ontario. I wanted to do something fun, so I started doing research into fun-facts about the region. It turns out Blyth is also home to Canada’s first banana farm! Bananas – and the growth of greenhouses in Ontario more generally – became the inspiration for this design.
